Role Purpose:
Provide financial support and process management for SAR-related functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Accountabilities:
Financial Support
- Collaborate with Department Leads to provide financial advice and support, driving informed decision-making and cost optimization.
- Understand cost drivers and provide insights to non-finance stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify financial opportunities and risks, participating in review cycles to ensure accurate forecasting and planning.
- Propose process improvements and lead implementation initiatives to enhance financial operations and reporting.
Process Management
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities, including accruals, reclassifications, allocation, and FTE assignments.
- Review and comment on financial results, providing insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Plan costs and FTEs at cost center level during Outlook and Budget cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead Capex controlling activities and serve as the main point of contact for senior management on new business case setup.
- Analyze financial information for errors and trends, driving process improvements and cost optimization.
- Assist with year-end and internal audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Support M&A and divestment projects as needed, driving financial planning and analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience in a Finance business partnering/cost controlling role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and general computer skills, particularly with accounting systems (SAP preferred) and reporting (BW).
- Attention to detail, organizational, planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
