Site Financial Director

About the Company:
Astute Recruitment Ltd is proud to partner with a well-established manufacturing business based in Derbyshire, operating in a profitable, low-volume niche market with sequential years of growth in Turnover and Profitability.
The Opportunity:
This newly created Site Financial Controller role is a result of consistent business growth and the need for effective succession planning within the organisation. The Site Financial Controller reports directly to the site General Manager, with a dotted line to the CFO, offering the right candidate the opportunity to progress with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis and business partnering to the Site Management Team
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, Cashflow, and Balance Sheet variance analysis
- Produce weekly and monthly management information, developing improved KPI reporting and value-added insight and analysis
- Cash flow, working capital management, and transfer pricing
- Assist with preparing year-end statutory accounts, working with external auditors and tax authorities
- Manage multiple business improvement projects in support of the local Management Team
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and career-focused individual with excellent financial analysis and business partnering skills. They will have the ability to succeed in their core role while managing multiple business improvement projects.
