Job Title: Scientific Director

CK Group, a leading pharmaceutical consulting company based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Writer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week spent on-site at the company's Milton Keynes office.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and experience working within the pharmaceutical industry. They will be responsible for developing scientific content to support clients' internal education and training programs, as well as external medical communications initiatives. This includes planning and writing materials across various formats and therapy areas, ensuring that communications objectives are met and a high level of technical accuracy is maintained.

The selected candidate will also contribute to leading new initiatives, drive business growth, and mentor members of the team. They will liaise with clients regarding project briefing, planning, and delivery, as well as work with external experts who are speaking or developing content on behalf of clients. Additionally, they will attend and report on scientific advisory boards, review and edit manuscripts, brief designers and/or digital developers, and quality control final documents.

Your Background:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a degree in life sciences or a related field and have experience working within the pharmaceutical industry. They should also have a strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint). It is essential that applicants hold the entitlement to work in the UK.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
