Job Title: Cleaning Team Leader, Night Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the provision of cleanliness across our property portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and developing staff performance to support the Company's operation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake weekly stock checks to ensure that all necessary cleaning supplies are available.
  • Follow agreed cleaning policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Communicate issues and concerns to the line manager to ensure that any problems are addressed promptly.
  • Review own team's work practices and environment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Store and use chemicals in a safe manner to prevent any potential hazards.
  • Follow all PPE guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the recruitment of new team members to help build a strong and effective team.

Requirements:

  • Professional cleaning experience with a flexible approach to work.
  • Full understanding of COSHH and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and line managers.
  • Efficient and effective team management skills to lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff.
  • Competent IT skills to use software and systems to support the role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently to achieve goals and objectives.

Working Hours: The night shift follows a 7on/7off pattern, with a working week that runs from Monday to Sunday. A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 18:00 – 03:30 and Tuesday to Sunday 18:00 – 03:00.
