The Role: Group Head of Technical - Seafood

As the Group Head of Technical for our Seafood cluster, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, legality, and quality across our operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects within our Seafood division, acting as a vital link between Operations, the Technical Director, and the broader Technical/NPD department.

This is a leadership position that demands strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the seafood industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing technical strategies to enhance food safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on all technical matters related to Seafood production, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Technical team across the Seafood estate, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Seafood Leadership team to drive a robust food safety and quality culture throughout the division.
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure seamless communication regarding technical matters and audit performance.
  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor, maintain, and drive continuous improvement in all technical aspects of the Seafood cluster.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance and best practices.
