This is a full-time position, requiring 37 hours of work per week over five days. The role will be office-based, with the successful candidate expected to possess excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.


About the Role


As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for liaising with families, young people, foster carers, members of the public, and professionals both via phone and face-to-face interactions.


You will need to have previous experience of working within administration, as this is essential for the role. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, flexible, able to work under tight deadlines, prioritise tasks effectively, and possess a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.


Responsibilities


  • Liaising with families, young people, foster carers, members of the public, and professionals via phone and face-to-face interactions.
  • Providing administrative support to various stakeholders within the team.
  • Working within a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:


  • Previous experience working within administration.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • A high level of organisation, flexibility, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Salary Information


The salary for this role is £27,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary, reflecting the importance of this role within our organisation.
