Job Title: Senior SoC Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Arm's Systems Development team is seeking a highly skilled Senior SoC Design Engineer to join their team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and verifying complex SoC designs using the latest IP products from Arm and other vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and verify SoC designs using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Develop micro-architecture specifications and optimize designs for power and performance
  • Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and debug design issues
  • Work with the implementation team to optimize designs and ensure successful delivery

Requirements:

  • Experience with RTL design for complex SoC development
  • Knowledge of static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis
  • Understanding of computer architecture and systems
  • Practical experience with processor-based system designs
  • Shell programming/scripting skills (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures
  • High-level programming experience (C/C++, assembly language)
  • Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, and microprocessor architectures
