About the Role
Arm's Systems Development team is seeking a highly skilled Senior SoC Design Engineer to join their team. As a member of the design team, you will be involved in the specification, design, and verification of various compute subsystems in Arm's products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop micro-architecture specifications for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Develop and implement RTL designs, and run various design checks to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues.
- Work with the implementation team to optimize designs and improve performance.
Requirements
- Experience in RTL design for complex SoC development using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Knowledge of static design checks, synthesis, and timing analysis, power management techniques, and power and clock domain crossing.
- Understanding of computer architecture and systems, and practical experience working on processor-based system designs.
- Knowledge of shell programming/scripting (e.g. TCL, Perl, Python, etc.).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Arm-based designs and/or Arm System Architectures.
- Experience developing and integrating subsystems for PCIe, UCIe, DDR/LPDDR/HBM, Ethernet, etc.
- High-level programming experience in C/C++ and/or assembly language programming.
- Experience in embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
