Operations Manager

About the Role:
CitySprint is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Heathrow. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day courier resources to maximize efficiencies across the network, adhering to customer SLAs and health and safety parameters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure CitySprint retains a positive commercial reputation.
- Actively manage, support, and develop a team of Operations Controllers/Coordinators to achieve collective Service Centre success.
- Ensure all in-house systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor operational costs and allocation of resources to ensure optimization of revenue and profit.
- Direct communications relating to designated courier workload courteously and efficiently.
- Proactively support growth through liaising with Account Management and Sales teams.
Requirements:
- Full understanding of Service Centre operational processes.
- Good working knowledge of systems including CityTrak and X-Despatch 3.
- Ability to proactively advise clients and colleagues of business-critical information and updates.
- Ability to reprioritize tasks/workload in line with changing business needs.
- Clear understanding of commercial targets and performance.
- Ability to deputize for the Service Centre Manager as required.
- Demonstrates a strong customer orientation and builds successful/strong customer relationships.
