Construction Materials Technician

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Materials Technician to join our team at Day Aggregates Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the production of high-quality hydraulically bound mixtures.

This role involves performing Factory Production Control testing, routine inspections, sampling, and testing compressive strength specimens. Additionally, you will take part in research and development projects and physical material trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Routine inspections and sampling of materials
  2. Testing and producing compressive strength specimens
  3. Participating in research and development projects
  4. Conducting physical material trials
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a construction materials technician or in a related field
  • Experience with granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing, and compressive strength testing
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Full UK driving license
