Rosewood Services, Inc. is looking for a Material Handling Technician to join our team in New Kensington, PA. As a Material Handling Technician, you will be responsible for supporting logistics, driving, and operating forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Job:

This position requires a detailed utility person to support logistics, drive, and operate forklifts. You will be responsible for processing incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, and recording shortages. Additionally, you will enter incoming receiving paperwork into the ERP system and affix required labels.

Responsibilities:

  • Package and ship parts/pieces/products according to specifications and job traveler
  • Process incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages
  • Enter incoming receiving paperwork into ERP system and affix required labels
  • Route items to departments, maintain inventory accuracy, and perform inventory updates
  • Participate in discrepancy investigations and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED, 2-years related manufacturing/warehousing experience
  • Prior forklift experience, certification, and maintenance
  • Valid driver's license, safe truck operation, and periodic motor vehicle record checks
  • Independent thinking, sound judgment, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and ERP system proficiency

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
