The Clerk to Governors Assistant will provide administrative support to the governing body, ensuring that meetings are well-organized and that minutes are accurately recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the governing body, including preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing documents.
- Communications: Communicating with the governing body, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure effective governance.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of governing body meetings and decisions.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in a relevant field (e.g., administration, secretarial studies, or a related field).
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: £43 per hour (pending pay award).
- Contract Type: Permanent.
- Hours: 10 hours per school term, over 39 weeks per academic year (60 hours per academic year), to be worked flexibly.
