The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 25 service users, providing employment-related support and advice, and working closely with individuals who have experienced mental health conditions. The role involves developing connections with local organizations and building networks to support service users in accessing employment opportunities.

Main Duties
  • Manage a caseload of up to 25 service users, providing employment-related support and advice.
  • Support service users to work towards, gain, return to, or retain employment.
  • Provide interventions within the employment team, including one-to-one sessions and support to access related courses and support.
  • Collaborate with the Wellbeing Recovery Employment Team and other internal services to reduce stigma around mental health in employment.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a good standard of general education, knowledge acquired through in-house training, and experience to NVQ 3 level or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the relationship between unemployment, mental health, and social issues, as well as experience of working with people who have experienced mental health conditions.
