Job Description: Senior Social Work Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Work Consultant to join our team at Entrust Social Care Ltd. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need.

In this role, you will chair Looked After Children meetings, Child Protection Conferences and other Safeguarding meetings, ensuring that we deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients. You will also provide consultation and advice on all Safeguarding and LAC issues, including those subject to Court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To chair Looked After Children meetings, Child Protection Conferences and other Safeguarding meetings.
  • To develop and ensure good and consistent practice for Looked After Children and Safeguarding.
  • To provide consultation and advice on all Safeguarding and LAC issues.
  • Children subject to Court proceedings.
  • Key Performance Indicators include successful completion of cases, effective collaboration with colleagues, and commitment to continuous learning and development.

Salary: £Negotiable dependent on experience and pay scheme selected

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Current DBS
  • Car driver

Around £35-40K per year

About the Role

This is a temporary contract, working 37 hours per week (flexible by negotiation). The successful candidate will be required to hold a Degree or equivalent, be registered with Social Work England, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
