Job Overview

The Alan Mitchell advisory firm is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Transactions Specialist to join their dynamic and fast-growing team. This role will involve providing guidance and senior-level supervision in executing assignments across various sectors, including affordable residential, cold storage, self-storage, healthcare, data centres, and energy & infra with real estate crossover areas.

Key Responsibilities

This challenging position requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset, solid experience in leading transaction execution (M&A, equity and debt), and an in-depth understanding of real estate markets. The successful candidate must demonstrate market-focused approach to transactions as well as relevant corporate finance / investment banking advisory experience of a minimum of 10 years.

  • Advising and supporting clients across M&A, Capital Raising, and Debt Advisory.
  • Guiding and supervising the team with day-to-day management of transactions, including preparation of information memoranda, transaction structuring, valuation analysis, and management presentations.
  • Leading on new idea generation, initiatives, and pitches – identifying potential target transactions and clients.
  • Broadening the relationships of the team, leveraging own network, as well as picking up and strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Supporting the team's development and learning, being a role model and mentor.
  • Supporting investor dialogue in relevant transactions and developing and managing client relationships.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 10 years' experience, with a minimum of 5 years in real estate M&A, capital raising, and debt advisory.
  • Excellent deal execution experience along with business development and origination skills.
  • Real estate experience valued across living sectors (affordable housing, BTR / PRS, PBSA etc.), debt advisory (senior/mezzanine/preferred/structured solutions) and operational real estate (cold storage, self-storage, healthcare etc.).
  • A strong and demonstrable track record of interacting well and building relationships with a large range of stakeholders.
  • A strong academic track record and professional qualifications are desirable (e.g. ACA, CFA).
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $150,000 - $200,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development.
