About the Role:

This is a high-level corporate real estate position that requires strong leadership, coordination, and negotiation skills to oversee and execute real estate transactions in the EMEA and APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transaction Management: Partner closely with ES colleagues and business partner clients to acquire and dispose of facilities, coordinating activities with management and staff functions within various groups/locations.
  2. Real Estate Strategy: Engage real estate agents/brokers as necessary, negotiate market-leading commercial terms, and prepare cash and P&L financial analysis to evaluate options and obtain approvals.
  3. Lease Administration: Effectively negotiate all lease terms for new leases, amendments, extensions, and terminations as needed, working with in-house and outside legal counsel to prepare required documentation.
  4. Project Management: Coordinate lease reviews with internal stakeholder groups, ensuring open communication and responsiveness from team members, and ensure proper project close-out and documentation.
  5. Portfolio Management: Track current lease contracts, manage critical date actions, and utilization analyses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience managing corporate real estate transactions.
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully manage multiple real estate projects throughout regions with timely and quality results.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively on lease transactions for cost benefit and tenant favorable legal terms.
  • Background in managing vendors and negotiating contracts with established relationships in the regions.
  • Strong ability to understand, interpret, and abstract lease language.
  • Keen understanding of CAM, Operating Expenses, Service Charges, Real Estate Tax Escalation, VAT.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong financial/analytical background with proficiency in Microsoft office applications, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prepare high-level presentations and transaction summaries for senior executives.

  • Ability to multi-task in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and people skills with the ability to convey information to team members.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently to complete projects with remote oversight.
