Job Role

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants are required to support students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, MLD, SLD, SEMH, and PMLD.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans, promote student engagement and participation, and support students with their social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

Assist students with their academic and personal development.

Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Support students with their social and emotional development.

Requirements

">

A minimum of 1 year's experience working with children with special needs.

An Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.

Working Conditions

This role requires flexibility and adaptability as the needs of the students and the school may change frequently.

You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to prioritize tasks and manage your workload effectively.
