As a Private Equity Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the local Private Equity team in its investment activities, working across all investment types, including primaries, co-investments, and secondaries in buyout, venture, or growth equity settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the private equity landscape and industry trends.
- Interpret financial analyses, prepare valuation analyses, and identify, quantify, and analyze trends across various industry sectors.
- Form an independent opinion about the attractiveness of an investment opportunity and effectively communicate that opinion verbally and in written materials, defending your position in a team environment, including Investment Committee meetings.
- Support senior staff on sourcing and managing investment processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, or Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success.
- 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking or Consulting.
- Ability to represent the firm credibly in written and interpersonal communications.
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skills.
- Leadership potential.
- High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Flexibility to perform multiple functions as the firm grows and develops.
- Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- European language skills (desirable).
