About the Job

As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily care and companionship to an elderly client. This includes managing medical conditions, assisting with personal care, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Managing medical conditions, such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's
  • Providing a daily average of 6-12 hours of care provision to your client
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting
  • A driver's licence is an advantage but not a requirement
  • You must be flexible to travel to your client placement

The estimated annual salary for this role is £26,000-£36,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
