About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Property Lawyer to join our client, a prestigious London-based local authority, on an interim basis. The successful candidate will work independently on high-value, complex property matters, including joint ventures, developments, and large sales and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will have a background in private practice, specifically working for a City law firm dealing with high-value sales and acquisitions. They will be confident in dealing with high-value projects from initial instruction to completion with minimal assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently on high-value, complex property matters
  • Deal with joint ventures, developments, and large sales and acquisitions
  • Collaborate with the client's team to deliver high-quality results
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in property law, preferably in a City law firm
  • Proven track record of working on high-value sales and acquisitions
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive hourly rate of £65-£75 via an umbrella company. The role is initially offered on a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension on a rolling, long-term basis. The client is open to considering 4-day or condensed hours for the right candidate.
