Production Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
  • Assemble products according to company specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products and report any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines, maintaining a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free from hazards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures, taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.
  • Assist with stock management and packing of products, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, meeting production targets and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks, with the ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
