Audiology Specialist

In this position, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, delivering specialized audiology assessments and treatments while managing your own patient caseload. You will be responsible for planning and prioritizing your workload, delegating tasks within a multi-disciplinary team, and providing expert audiology assessments and treatments.
- Supervise, train, and upskill staff, including Associate and Assistant Practitioners, and students.
- Manage and prioritize your own patient caseload.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Work across Bristol & Weston hospitals, primarily at St Michael's and Southmead Hospitals, but also at outreach sites.

Person Specification- Audiology Degree or BAAT/BTEC Parts 1 and 2.
- HCPC/RCCP Registered as appropriate.
- Evidence of relevant knowledge and skills developments in all areas of the advertised role, including attendance at relevant M-level modules in Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, and Rehabilitation.
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
- Involvement in Relevant Special Clinical Interest Groups.
- Effective communication and empathetic skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate.
- Demonstrate assessment, analytical, and reflective skills across a diverse patient group.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to effectively perform patient diagnosis, assessment, and rehabilitation.
- Experience of supervision of other staff, e.g., assistants/technical instructors.
- Knowledge of clinical Governance and its application to Audiology.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a stressful environment.
- Ability to travel between sites.
