About the Role:

The Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a seasoned Payroll professional to join their team as a Payroll Team Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the payroll function for a period of 12 months and be part of a large successful business with a well-known brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Payroll Manager with the day-to-day running of the team
  • Support in bringing new ideas to the team throughout the 12 months
  • Maintain the payroll system
  • Be a part of the positive and continuous improvement to the payroll function

Requirements:

  • Extensive payroll team leader experience
  • Track record of joining payroll functions and motivating a team to complete the day-to-day payroll duties
  • Ability to support a payroll team of 4 and the payroll and pensions processes for over 2000 UK-based employees
