About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Data Architecture Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology function, you will be responsible for building data sourcing, controls and distribution architecture that enables the business to operate efficiently with data.

In this role, you will leverage your technical skills to design and implement scalable data architectures, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business value. Your expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

As a Data Architecture Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and implementing new data pipelines to optimizing existing ones. You will collaborate with software developers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, secure, and meets the evolving needs of our business.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • 4+ years of software industry experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in one of the mainstream programming languages (Java, C++, Python etc.)
  • Experience in working with SQL/NoSQL data stores (e.g. MongoDB)
  • Proficiency in using advanced data structures and algorithms
  • In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design
  • Experience of test-driven development, hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
