Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: Wandsworth, London

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across key stages in the classroom and outside of the classroom, running small group sessions (interventions). You will also assist students with minor-moderate SEN (additional needs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to pupils across EYFS & KS1 & KS2
  • Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions
  • Assist with students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Speech and Language issues
  • Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils
  • High quality and bespoke CPD (training) provided

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children - in any capacity
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for children to flourish within
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
