Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Scotland Project Controls team, you will be responsible for delivering project controls across major infrastructure construction projects in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring for accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting.
  • Review new project proposals and monitor to ensure realistic, resourceable plans are developed for delivery of the programme.
  • Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
  • Provide an efficient day-to-day service to the Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment, and programme performance.
  • Monitor data input by project teams and others to cost and performance systems to meet required data standards.
  • Manage the production of the Investment Plan and comply with the Investment Competence Framework.

Requirements

  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis.
  • Experience of working in the construction infrastructure sector on projects with defence, rail, aviation, highways, nuclear, power, energy, and water.
  • Skilled in oral and written communication.
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple discipline-specific software applications, such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management.
