Station Dispatch Specialist

Birmingham New Street Station is one of the busiest railway stations in the UK, with over 100,000 passengers passing through every day. As a Platform Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of train dispatch, including allocating resources, directing platform assistants, and checking empty coaching stocks.
About the Job
This is a full-time role that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be expected to work effectively as part of a team and to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safe and efficient dispatch of trains
- Allocating resources to meet operational needs
- DIRECTING PLATFORM ASSISTANTS TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE TRAIN DISPATCH
- Checking empty coaching stocks to ensure they are secure and free from customers

Salary and Benefits
