Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Management Specialist to oversee the operation of our batching plant in Birmingham City Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production and dispatch of high-quality concrete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the batching plant using Command Alkon software to produce and dispatch concrete with accuracy.
  • Maximize truck utilization by optimizing shipping schedules.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
  • Maintain stock levels and manage day-to-day operations of the plant and yard.
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping standards and perform daily maintenance tasks on the batching plant.
  • Collaborate with the technical department for concrete slump/flow testing as needed.

Requirements:

  • A 50-hour workweek with occasional overtime required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction management or related field.
  • Prior experience with Alkon software is preferred but not essential.
  • A loading shovel ticket can be advantageous but is not mandatory.

About the Role:
