Job Title: Senior Technical Lead - Safety and Environmental Engineering

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction to engineers and articulating subject expertise to extend the business knowledge base.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers to ensure delivery of high-quality projects.
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in safety and environmental engineering.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and needs are considered.
• Define qualification obligations for assurance hold points during build, test, and commissioning.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles relating to safety and environmental engineering.
• Significant experience applying knowledge to a wide range of engineering issues.
• CEng level or equivalent capability.

Desirable Qualifications
• Experience within a team, project, or discipline recognised as a source of authoritative knowledge.
• Knowledge within the submarine or defence industry.
• Familiarity with design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning, and testing of submarines lifecycle phases.
