About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Leisure Centre Attendant. As a key member of our centre team, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the sports centre, including lifeguarding duties, covering reception, and assisting with cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the centre management team in the day-to-day operations of the sports centre
- Lifeguarding duties, ensuring the safety of our members and visitors
- Covering reception duties, providing excellent customer service and responding to queries
- Assisting with cleaning and maintaining the centre to a high standard
- Providing first aid when necessary and working within a small team
Requirements:
- Be in possession of or in the process of gaining an RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
- Competent swimmer with a strong understanding of water safety
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience of working in a face-to-face and telephone environment
- Strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
- Flexible to work shifts, including weekdays and weekends
- Ability to obtain a DBS check
