About the Role
SUPERINTENDENT PHARMACIST - OUTPATIENTS PHARMACY (BASED IN SOUTHAMPTON)

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Superintendent Pharmacist or a seasoned Pharmacy Manager/Area Manager to join our dynamic team in Southampton. The successful candidate will lead our OPD Pharmacy, which dispenses 14k items across 2 hospital sites.

We are looking for someone who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, engage with the board, and manage a team. You will also need to ensure compliance with GPhC inspection criteria.

  • Items: The OPD Pharmacy currently dispenses 14k items across 2 hospital sites
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, Saturdays rota 9 am to 1 pm (1 in 4/6 Saturdays)
  • Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
  • Bonus: Performance bonus scheme up to 10% of annual salary

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Lead the OPD Pharmacy team
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC inspection criteria
  • Engage with the board to discuss key issues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy
  • GPhC Registration
  • 5+ years of experience in managing a team
  • Postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of GPhC inspection criteria
