Customer Team Leader Job Description

As a Customer Team Leader at The Co-operative Group, you will be responsible for leading a team of Customer Team Members and providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the store and make decisions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of Customer Team Members to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead others.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
