About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic FOI Administrator to join our dynamic Medical Records and Information Governance team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming team telephone calls and monitor the FOI Mailbox for requests, as well as the FOI online system.
  • Liaise with requesters, and responders within the Trust, to collate information in preparation for the FOI responses.
  • Log FOI requests, received from the public, assign to teams for response, monitor progress, collate information from responders, format response, and submit to requesters.
About You

You will be a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, able to adapt to new IT technology. Confidence in the use of Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and experience in administrative tasks. As part of this role, you will need to travel to other Trust sites, therefore being a driver is essential.

What We Offer

This is a full-time permanent or fixed-term (8 months) post, offering a competitive salary of £22,500-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role is based primarily at Sentinel House, Poole. If selected, you will be joining a supportive team with opportunities for career development and growth.
