About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Biggleswade. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting learning disabled adults to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, medication, and cooking
  • Encourage and support individuals to develop new skills and interests
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44, rising to £12.00 from 1st October 2024
  • A range of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle, including early shifts, late shifts, and every other weekend

  • A generous holiday entitlement, including 33 days of annual leave and 8 statutory bank holidays
Requirements
  • Experience working with learning disabled adults or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving licence (desirable but not essential)
