Job Opportunity:
Milk Education is seeking a dedicated Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Specialist to join our team in Godalming. This exciting role offers the chance to build experience working alongside pupils with additional needs.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced individual who can support children with challenging behaviours, assist the class teacher, and work on a 1-1 basis or in small groups with the students. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
- Collaborating with the teaching staff to develop effective behaviour management strategies
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:
- Experience working with children with ADHD and/or SEMH
- Ability to use positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
