Speech and Language Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated Education Support Specialist to work in a secondary school in Southwark, supporting students with communication difficulties.

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time Permanent
  • Location: Southwark, London

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties. They will be responsible for working one-to-one with students, implementing speech and language exercises in collaboration with external therapists, and supporting teachers in adapting lesson materials to meet the needs of students with communication difficulties.

We offer ongoing training in speech and language support and a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties
  • Knowledge of communication strategies and speech development
  • DBS check required

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
