Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance team, you will provide financial support services to our organization, ensuring compliance with our policies and delivering operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase orders and invoices, perform monthly reconciliations, and ensure efficient use of the organization's budget.
  • Support the processing of central orders, invoices, and BACS payments, ensuring all transactions have the necessary authorization.
  • Supervise financial administration and transaction processing, including grant funding receipting, purchase order/invoice processing, sales invoice processing, petty cash, and credit card transactions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for administering, ordering, and invoice processing for the Central Services Team.
  • Process and produce routine supplier and staff expenses BACS payment runs.
  • Ensure timely processing of all transactions and meet deadlines, including month-end and year-end deadlines, and supplier payment terms.
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or fully AAT qualified.
  • High level of computer and numerical literacy, including Excel and Word.
  • Sound practical knowledge of finance and accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
