Sterling Williams LTD is seeking a highly skilled FX Settlements/Operations Officer to join their team.

This is a permanent position with a salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, plus benefits, and a 5-day working week based in Central London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing settlement functions to ensure the accuracy of positions and deals.
  • Covering customer services activities during the absence of the Administrative Officer.
  • Maintaining and managing customer relationships to achieve total customer satisfaction.
  • Checking and co-authorising credit items and timely payments within delegated authority.
  • Handling queries and investigations related to Bank-to-Bank payments.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a banking environment with exposure to Foreign Exchange Settlements.
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
