Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Associate to join our team and contribute to the firm's funding requirements and Treasury portfolio optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash and Liquidity Management: Oversee daily cash management to facilitate margin/settlements and optimize cash returns.
  • Daily Bank Account Reconciliation: Resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate records.
  • OTC Settlements: Execute daily OTC settlements and manage related tasks.
  • Cash Controls: Implement and maintain robust cash controls to ensure compliance and security.
  • Treasury Reporting: Produce regular reports on cash and liquidity management.
  • Trade Ticket Drafting: Prepare trade tickets for the Treasury Portfolio, including Bonds, FX, Futures, Money Markets, and IRS Instruments.
  • Treasury P&L and Costs: Assist in overseeing Treasury P&L and costs.
  • Repo Transactions: Execute Repo transactions and manage related tasks.
  • FX Exposures and Duration: Manage FX exposures and duration on the Treasury Portfolio.
  • FX Residual Balance Repatriation: Repatriate FX residual balances at FXPBs.
  • Margin Management: Oversee margin management processes.
  • Subscriptions/Redemptions: Work closely with Business Development/Investor Relations and Fund Accounting to manage subscriptions and redemptions.
  • Post-Execution Management: Manage post-execution tasks, including operational tasks.
  • Documentation and Portals: Update key documentation and portals.
  • Banking/PB/Fund Admin User Access: Manage user access and permissions for banking, PB, and fund admin systems.
  • Interdepartmental Support: Provide information and support to other departments, including Investor Relations, Fund Accounting, Operations, and Product Control.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a related financial services role, preferably in banking or asset management.
  • Experience in Treasury: Experience working within a Hedge Fund Treasury, Cash Management, or Middle Office function.
  • Cash and Margin Management: Experience in cash and margin management is preferable.
  • Financial Markets and Assets: Familiarity with financial markets and assets, including Bonds, FX, IRS, Derivatives, and Repos.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree, as a minimum.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. SQL, Tableau, and Orchestrade knowledge is preferable.
  • Project Experience: Experience in delivering Finance/Treasury system projects.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work to deadlines, accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail. Good communication skills, with an ability to build internal and external relationships. Ability to work in pressurized situations, prioritizing workloads. Experience in developing and improving controls and processes. Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
