Planned Maintenance Expert needed for a prestigious Chemical Manufacturing company based in Manchester. This challenging role offers a salary of up to £60,000 and an attractive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing planned maintenance strategies to maintain optimal plant efficiency. They will lead a team of skilled maintenance professionals in optimizing maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal downtime, and maximizing plant productivity. Additionally, they will supervise predictive/preventive maintenance activities, implement corrective maintenance procedures effectively, and assess plant reliability regularly to identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, they will update data accurately and promptly in SAP and other systems, monitor performance metrics, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

We seek a highly experienced professional with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the chemical, oil & gas, or petrochemical industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to identify root causes of equipment failures and develop effective maintenance solutions. Effective communication and leadership skills are also essential to motivate and direct the maintenance team towards achieving common goals.
