About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at the British Library. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial advice and support to senior leaders and programme managers on strategic and operational decisions.
  • Oversight, guidance, and challenge to senior officers and programme managers.
  • Input and expert advice on business cases.
  • Ensure the business understands and delivers against risk management, finance policies, and performance KPIs through agreed change initiatives and operational areas.

Requirements:

  • Proven Finance Business Partner experience and capability in working with senior leaders across the organization.
  • Ability to interpret financial and performance information in layman's terms as a basis for advising management and recommending courses of action.
  • Ability to translate the numbers into a business story.
  • Innovative and proactive approach to exploiting change opportunities and promoting best practice.
