Disability Support Professional

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement care plans: Create personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of service users, focusing on independence and empowerment.
  • Support daily living activities: Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily routines, promoting autonomy and self-confidence.
  • Foster community connections: Organize social events and community activities to enhance social interaction and inclusion.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in healthcare or social work is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a support role for individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
  • Essential skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Remuneration:
  • A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on experience.
