Key Responsibilities:

  • Take attendance in the mornings and liaise with parents over absences
  • Provide support work in the community, working closely with social services and other parties to best support young people
  • Manage behaviour and deescalation strategies to help young people engage with the curriculum
  • Refer to education and health care plans (EHCP) for each student
  • Hold a valid driving license and have access to a car for this role

Requirements:

  • Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
