We are seeking an exceptional respiratory care specialist to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have advanced skills in managing complex respiratory patients and provide expert clinical advice through training, guidance, and information to community teams.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a dynamic and motivated individual who can work effectively under pressure. As a respiratory care specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating hospital discharge, avoiding admissions, and providing high-quality respiratory care in domiciliary and community settings.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in respiratory management within the NHS, with a strong background in acute care, ideally in Head and Neck, Respiratory Medicine, and Critical Care. You will also have expertise in Altered Airway Management, including tracheostomy and laryngectomy management.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you should be able to demonstrate high-level communication skills, leadership abilities, and time management skills. The ability to work independently or as part of a team, and to articulate expert perspectives with medical colleagues, is essential.
