About the Job
The Senior Mechanical Engineer Position involves managing a small team of mechanical designers, planning and scheduling projects, and engaging in production meetings, contract reviews, and delivery forecasts. You will utilize Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and 2D technical drawings for fabrication and production, perform structural calculations, heat transfer analysis, and engineering checks, and provide technical support to the design team and shop floor staff. A strong engineering background in heavy or complex product design is essential, with expertise in 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will also have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent and excellent problem-solving skills.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented individual with a passion for heavy equipment design and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, ideally with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or similar fields, and expertise in 3D CAD software. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of mechanical designers.
