About Us

Climate17 is a reputable company in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to providing high-quality services for solar farm maintenance. We are seeking an experienced Solar Installer to join our team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to solar farm maintenance, including electrical and non-electrical works. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records and report any issues to the management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance works for solar plants.
  • Take primary on-site responsibility for plant performance, work quality, and site appearance.
  • Effectively resolve work tickets and report required information to Project Manager or Regional Manager.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties as required.
  • Participate in on-call rota for non-working hours.
Requirements
  • 1 year's experience working on ground-mounted solar farms (desirable).
  • 1 year's experience in installation or ongoing maintenance of 3-phase solar PV systems (desirable).
  • C&G 2330 level 2/3 or equivalent.
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and testing.
  • C&G BS7671 17th/18th edition.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Computer literate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Qualifications in PV inverter technologies, communications or networking, IOSH or NEBOSH (desirable).
  • HV qualifications AP15 or OP40 (desirable).
