Highways Trainer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Highways or Construction professional to join our Talent and Performance team as a Highways Trainer. As a Learning and Development Support Officer, you will work with our highways, transport, and environments teams to deliver high-quality learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver essential training such as mask fitting, manual handling, and winter maintenance.
• Maintain your understanding of occupational procedures and best practice.
• Complete reviews of training programmes, maintain records, and report learning management information.

Requirements

• Experience working in a highways, construction, or transport role. A vocational qualification would be beneficial but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver engaging technical training to non-technical colleagues.
• Up to date knowledge of relevant regulations and professional frameworks.
