We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Eltham GPO. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development, ensuring that dishes are creative, fresh, and seasonal.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and contribute to the development of kitchen strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
