Teaching Personnel Seeks English Specialist

We are seeking a skilled English specialist to provide tuition to KS3 students in the Nottinghamshire area. The successful candidate will work with students who require additional support in English language and literature.

The role involves helping students reach their full potential in English, with the successful candidate having the creative freedom to design their own lesson plans. We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner with a proven track record of delivering good and outstanding progress, alongside excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality tuition to KS3 students in English language and literature.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in English language and literature, with a proven track record of delivering good and outstanding progress.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

What We Offer:
