">KPS Selection is a global automotive supply company providing hardware and engineering services to OEMs. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Thetford.
">Job Summary:
">The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring supplier, customer, and internal quality issues. Involvement in IATF processes and audits is essential. This includes managing the supplier database, tracking supplier performance, conducting regular reviews and on-site audits, adding and vetting new potential suppliers, updating suppliers on quality scores, managing the DMN system, liaising with process engineers, arranging and tracking internal process audits, monitoring staff training, maintaining IATF-standard quality management systems, preparing for customer and annual audits, sharing and promoting company objectives with staff, tracking progress towards meeting company goals, adopting Kaizen principles and concepts, supporting and encouraging KAIZEN and Gear activities, training, coaching, and assisting in continuous improvement ideas, conducting employee performance reviews, submitting training needs to HR, maintaining all training records, and following general procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage supplier database.
- Monitor and track supplier performance.
- Regular supplier reviews and on-site audits.
- Add and vet new potential suppliers.
- Update suppliers on quality scores.
- Manage DMN system and record all DMNs.
- Liaise with process engineer to keep production processes up-to-date.
- Arrange and track internal process audits.
- Monitor staff training and keep documentation up-to-date.
- Maintain IATF-standard quality management systems.
- Prepare for customer and annual audits.
- Share and promote company objectives with staff.
- Track progress towards meeting company goals.
- Adopt Kaizen principles and concepts.
- Support and encourage KAIZEN and Gear activities.
- Train, coach, and assist in continuous improvement ideas.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Submit training needs to HR.
- Maintain all training records.
- Follow general procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
">We are looking for a skilled and experienced professional with a minimum of five years in the automotive industry. You should have experience in IATF or TS quality systems, VDA 6.3 and VDA 6.5 auditor qualifications, PSCR qualifications, organisational and priority management skills, interpersonal communication skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft products, understanding of manufacturing and logistics processes, English language skills, and a full driving license. German speaker is an advantage.
">Salary: £55,000 per year, dependent on experience.
